Our water monitoring service quantifies water leakage at a customer site. The data collected identifies long term ongoing leaks as well as sudden bursts, both of which can be entirely underground with no visible surface water. Furthermore, bursts can happen when a site is shut down.
Our service will alert the customer to sudden changes within 24 hours of the change and enable timely remedial works if necessary, a service we can also arrange as required.
The average loss of water is 39% while we have saved well over £1.5million for our customers.
The best way to explain our service is through examples.
Example 1 – Sudden increased consumption at a supermarket
The graph shows clearly a sharp increase in water consumption on July 15th represented in litres per hour.

Square [1] Utilities texted an alert over the weekend and this enabled a leakage technician to attend the site on Monday. The problem was found to be a fault on the car wash which was upstream of the shop meter and therefore not registering on the customer’s own system. In the customers own words: “This is a great illustration of how this service can work for customers.”
